It has been a jam packed first week of June! Thursday kicked off the weekend with one of my biggest events for work, The Employee Picnic for all of our ANC campus and thier families. We had bouncy houses, face painting, snow cones, animals from the AK zoo and some great sunshine. Despite a few minor glitches(a spawned out bucking mechanical salmon and hot dog hoarding employees), it was a really fun event for everyone. The Twlight 12k on Friday evening, was my first official running event of the season. It is such a fun run all around downtown Anchorage with great running buddies and moose's tooth pizza and beer as the reward. Sunday I volunteered at the inagural Walk/Run for Mojo sponsored by the Alaska chapter of the SPCA. I was surrounded by runningenthusiasts and adorable dogs, two of my favorites. Cheers to summer !
