North to Curry: Ski Train 2012!!--My 100th post!!

I spent a sunny Saturday on the ski train, an epic adventure that happens only once a year! Beginning early in the morning, the train travels to Curry an old ski town about fours hours north of Anchorage for cross-country skiing, sledding and tons o fun! The travel time is just as fun as skiing with yummy food, drinks and a polka band for entertainment.

Winter Adventures

I think this may be the last of my winter adventures this year. The weather is warming and the snow is starting to melt, though  since we have had record snowfall it may be June before it is all gone. :)

St. Patty's Day!

Enjoyed this year's St. Patty's with a festive 5k and Irish food, drinks and good friends!
