I am so grateful for another year of wonderful birthday celebrations! I stopped in the big D on the way back home for a fun filled girls weekend with some of my best friends from TX, CO and AZ. These girls always have me reconsidering AK living(so far away) after we get together. My birthday week continued back in the ANC with a gourmet Bobby Flay inspired dinner(thanks Dad!) and an old school 80's roller rink par-tay(thanks Judi)! I am truly blessed and so fortunate for such special people in my life and thankful for all those b-day messages, gifts, cards and calls. Cheers to another year!

Mardi Gras, Mississippi and more!

I traveled down south to deliver a very special package to Mississippi and also have some vacation fun, warmer weather style! 22 hours after leaving ANC, Hawkins and I arrived in NOLA greeted by a very happy and relieved Kim. Hawkins was a trooper on our three flights, even when detoured in Dallas for an extra 10 hours(thank you benadryl:) Although a little cooler than average, it was a relaxing week as we toured Mardi Gras New Orleans and beachy Biloxi. It was a welcome break and so great to spend quality time with Kim and our little Hawk.
