I had such a fun time catching up with friends from high school at Kerry's BBQ this weekend. It's crazy to believe it has been 13 years since we graduated. It was great to see these ladies and hang out around our backyard campfire(in the rain), enjoy s'mores and just be our old school silly selves. :)

Adventures in Hiking Part 1

I can't think of a better way to enjoy summer than weekly hiking treks with good friends. This week we went just minutes away from my house to Kincaid Park. We wandered through the woods until we found the beach, then walked along the water watching the sun slowly set. I'm so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. I look forward exploring new hiking spots every week!!

AK Stayca with the Wilsons

Jenni and Kent escaped 110 degree AZ heat to experience AK summertime and I so loved having them here. We filled the week with walks on the coastal trail, hiking, fishing, eating and just hanging out in the Sherbet condo. It was great to show them around, but also enjoy Alaska adventures too. I sometimes don't take the time to explore new places in my own state and having visitors is the perfect opportunity to do so. Thanks for coming Dub family!!
