Athena

 After months of petfinder browsing, I finally found  Athena. All the stars aligned for a perfect pet adoption; Kim, my dog sitter( for anytime I travel:) moved back to Anchorage, and I found a running dog less than 35 pounds(silly condo association rules). Athena is a middle age lab mix-- 5-6 years old according to the vet. She is such a sweet girl, despite a not so great past. She had been dropped off at animal control, neglected and with two of her canines broken in half. A little dental work and some TLC and she has really come out of her shell. I'm so excited to finally have my own d-o-double g!
