I headed straight out of town after work Friday, taking in the gorgeous sunny drive down the Seward highway to my first camping trip of the summer. This coastal drive is one of the best and always reminds me why I love Alaska. I arrived at our campsite in Ninilchik and was greeted with a roaring fire, this beautiful sunset and a refreshing beverage, what a great way to start the weekend. Fishing was not in the cards for us on Saturday so we headed in to Homer to be tourists for the day. All in all a great weekend, with some of my favorite peeps. Can't wait to soak in all that Alaska has to offer this summer!
