Summer Solstice Weekend

I started the weekend with the Mayor's Marathon relay. This is my first marathon relay and it was so much fun despite the rain. Each team consisted of four people and we all caravaned to each trade-off point along the race. The marathon course goes all over Anchorage including some trail running. The rain didn't stop for the outdoor 311 concert later that night at Moose's Tooth, but it was still a blast. The band sounded great and the rasberry wheat beer was delicious! Sunday turned into a beautiful sunny day. Folsom and I took full advantage with a walk up the coastal trail to Saturday market. Happy Summer Solstice!
