Today I am officially done with grad school. I finished classes in December, but had to wait until the spring for the official ceremonies. I opted to skip the actual commencement and just attend the hooding ceremony held for graduate students only. I had thought about forgoing it all, but am glad I decided in favor of tradition :) It was nice to be recognized for all my hard work and I never miss an opportunity for a photo session! I enjoyed my tenure as a UAA grad student, had some great professors and made a couple really good friends. I couldn't have done it without all the wonderful support from friends and family. Now that I am "hooded", the journey to find my dream job(they actually exist right?) officially begins. Stay tuned....
